We are talking about dt as if he's normal and is benefiting this country. All day long, even when he lets a tweet fly that is so out of the norm, they report, we decide. Not a word about him from the gop?
I've decided he's a nut job. I've read the rethugs might go with that AFTER Gorsuch is voted in.

(19,566 posts)I'm speaking of people I work for, or with. I don't bring it up in that environment, it's not wise with what I do and where I live. However, when they bring it up I do engage, and everyone who brings it up is worried. Some of these people are clients I've had for at least 15 years who've never brought up the state of our country to me before.
People are talking, and even those not "in" the Resistance are starting to resist. I think it's a good sign this early on. It shows he really is that nuts, and that scary.

(19,566 posts)If anything, I'm surprised by how many people have suddenly found their voices. I have to think that's a good sign.
For example; I live in a conservative area where speaking out against Republicans in general wasn't done casually in the past. Granted, everyone knows my political stripes here, I'm a bit infamous for being outspoken. It caused me some publicized problems in the past. That people are now engaging me all of a sudden is giving me some hope. They're asking for my opinion and views on issues. That's brand new territory for me.
