Something is odd about news reporting today.

I'm hearing very little about the intelligence committees. There seems to be more of a positive spin regarding Trump today. The Syrian gas attack and North Korea seem to be dominating. Depending on how Trump reacts to these situations it could change some people's view of him.

I just hope we are not headed to war.

My view of the bigoted, racist sexual predator will never change no matter how much shade is thrown in our faces.

As The GOP Needs A Distraction and the Distraction is War. This is the same pattern as with ALL GOP Presidents in modern times since Reagan. Think about it. Reagan = Iran/Contra. Bush (Jr.) - Iraq and with Trump =North Korea/Syria.

It's going to happen and it will occur. Trump's approval rating is floating around 35% or maybe (likely) lower. The Rightful HEAT on his Russia connection and Election 2016 is Red Hot with the Connection and HIM.

Trump needs a WAR to improve his "approval rating". Trump needs a WAR to have any remote chance for "Re-Election". THINK REAGAN and BUSH before him. See the pattern.

Trump is going to start a War. It is OUR RESPONSIBLY to CALL HIM OUT on his BS.

I will fly them over myself and make sure they parachute into the DMZ tomorrow if he wants...

It's not just that they like war. They like the money they all make off of war. And no fucking way their kids are going to be on the front lines, if they serve at all.

in all of this, I read or heard Putin wants a stronghold in the Middle East, can see it happening too. Are the US troops in Syria working for Russia or Syria? This filthy cabal is saying we are fighting Isis, just cultivating more terrorists, oh but wait we have our own American terrorists sitting in the WH.

Shit McConnell will get lots of free airtime on every media outlet to scold Democrats.

"Democrats need to set aside their partisan agenda," he'll tell us, "and instead focus on protecting the American people."

or

"I hope that my Democratic colleagues will focus on our nation's defense instead of engaging in a protracted witch hunt to further their own agenda."

The media will play his gurgling pronouncements in heavy rotation, and the Russia story will gradually disappear.

Meanwhile, Susan Rice will be indicted.

The media will cease to report on anything not war related
Meanwhile, back at the White House...
Deconstruction of the Administrative State will shift into high gear ....
And the once highly publicized EO signings and legislative activities will become stealth operations authorizing all things nefarious....

If the war-mongering is managed well .... everyone will be sufficiently preoccupied as the clock ticks down allowing the Russia Sanctions to silently expire .... no action required.

7. These are serious things. If you value world peace, you'll want Trump to act wisely.

I know it won't last. After all, Trump and Tillerson are utterly craven, acting in Russia's interests instead of America's because they'll personally profit by it.

But this business in Syria and the horrible threat from North Korea are so serious, we have to hope that Trump acts in a way that will make him more popular. Removing Bannon from the NSC is the right thing to do (even if McMaster had to extort that decision from Trump) and so it will give Trump a boost in the polls.

That's a shame, of course, but that's the whole theory behind democracy... that regardless of personal predelictions, a president who values his fame will act in the country's best interest and in the service of wise policy if he wants to hang onto any acclaim or power.

If Trump succeeds America fails. Bannon is a ruse. It means nothing. It's another shiny object.

The same as saying, "Don't pay any attention to the Russian coup. Look over here. Children are dying and we need to attack. Obama wiretapped me. Susan Rice is the leaker and her motives are suspicious. Muslims are all mostly terrorists and need to be banned from the country."

Murdered children and genocide is despicable and needs to be addressed but not framed and used to promote one's narcissistic tendencies. Trump cares nothing about the country. Caring about the country leaves no room to care about himself. Any act of caring should be selfless. Not about one's self. There is more to come. There will be shiny objects galore and a childish person loves to play with them even if it kills human beings.

We are in a new era of potential nuclear annihilation.

This is highly qualified good news. The democratic institutions of national security are at least halfway stopping Trump from acting squarely in Putin's interest. I thing there will be some especially interesting carry-overs from Nikki Haley's speech.
