They don't. We may love what Bernie is saying, but if THEY don't care, it's pretty much preaching to the choir. Far from destruction.

Trump is a con man who stole "populist" rhetoric because it ensured continued divisiveness.

Trump is a con man who is incapable of promising anything. It's naive of Sanders to miss that.

Obama and Clinton were calling out Trump's game long before Bernie.

he made his comment at a rally about Trump's racist, sexist, homophobic supporters not being "deplorables."

That's why he was criticized.

DESTROY anyone. He is one Senator, making a statement. And he's not the only one to make that statement, either.

Senator's Sanders' word is not definitive, nor will it affect Donald Trump even a little. Sanders did not DESTROY Trump. He simply called him a name. That will have zero effect on anything at all.

I have called Donald Trump many derogatory things. My words have an equal impact as Sanders' words. Zero.

Over-hyping or exaggerating in the title in order to tee it up for the inevitable sarcasm and whining. I don't know if that was deliberate or not. Because you must know by now there are a few that are always scanning the top posts that have any mention of Sanders in order to find any red herring they can to derail it with. And that title is a yuuuuuuuge temptation for some to make a joke at Bernie's expense in order to make light of his efforts.

No, Trump doesn't give a crap about what Bernie says, and maybe most Republican voters don't either. Or even a lot of Democrats. But everything helps. The resistance has to go on whether some are sick of hearing similar battle cries or not. Isn't it better the more voices on TV that are critical of Trump than not? I wish they'd live by the rule "if you can't say anything nice...just stay out of the thread."

Bernie remains a popular ie. influential figure in American politics. To Bernie supporters this is something to be celebrated as it means his moderately progressive platform still has legs. Go Bernie!!! We can't control how every Democrat feels about him, although its puzzling to think there is such vitriol against someone that wants to help. Even the tough love part.

Can you imagine if he had taken that populism and set out on his own, or took the Green Party leadership, and dragged that influence with him away from the Democratic party? Instead he adamantly refused to join the Greens and is working with Democrats like Warren to push for progressive policy along side.

Please stop with such stupid headlines.

DESTROYING Trump would involve taking away his power.
