1. By far the best we will get in WVA. And many of us were concerned about it in 2013.

Only to be told by many here that we were being too timid. Now it turns out we gave the GOP justification to install a horrible young SCOTUS judge.

3. They needed no justification, that's just a cover story.

This would have been done regardless of 2013.

4. You don't know that. It would have been a tough sell without 2013 and easy to fight and criticize

at a time when the GOP is in complete disarray in both congress and the White House, without the justification of Democrats having done something similar a few years ago, I doubt they could pull this off right now.

5. You doubt they could pull it off right now but you don't know that.

You're speculating to support your opinion. As far as the disarray is concerned, it is not as big a deal as it appears. Remember that the repubs control the government from top to bottom and things will only happen with their blessing regardless of our opposition. They don't need anything from us.

7. If the biggest priority was health care, they never voted and believe me that issue is far from dead.

As far as that affecting the filibuster vote, I fail to see a connection. Disarray? They said if they didn't get their way they would eliminate the filibuster that is what they did with every repub voting for it. That is not really disarray. We can go on and on about who is responsible and who to blame but it is all moot now, the filibuster is dead.

8. I never said it WAS dead. I said they couldn't execute. We both know that was a massive failure. nt

as long as they do not vote to end the filibuster, which they did not.
I am on board with every Democrat running for Senate next year.
