when you let any home owner create their own illegal hotel. I won't do any AirheadBNB or Uber transactions, I prefer to deal with legitimate cab drivers and legitimate hotels/motels.

to make problems for the perpetrator with whatever licensing agency they have to deal with, and in the case of hotels/motels, this can be dealt with through ratings systems like TripAdvisor and Yelp.

And this is one of only many reasons why. And aside from the labor and social issues. I especially don't get the appeal of AirBnB for either renter or tenant. I can't imagine strangers sleeping in my bed and using my things while I'm gone, nor can I imagine sleeping on a stranger's bed. I have no idea how well they clean. It's just gross. I don't get the appeal at all.
