Hell, it's the main reason I want it to happen. And likely the main thing keeping the WH from pulling the trigger.

(363 posts)If Bannon gets the boot it's very, very likely that he'll become a very prolific and vocal critic of Trump, and in a way that only a former insider could. That could be really, really bad for 45. Especially since his profile in right wing media is a very important yardstick for Trump's own evaluation of his Presidency. But keeping him around keeps the current stew at a high boil, and there's plenty of new trouble Steve-O could cause down the road.
He may be stuck with a valuable friend that he now can't cut lose. Holding a tiger by the tail, as they say.
Poor guy.
