I always assumed that I wouldn't be touched by these events since I'm a good ol' American citizen born on US soil but we all know how that's going.

and the energy sector depends on foreign sales of Russian gas and oil. Control of other countries with energy is part of this equation. Havoc in the Middle East keeps the price up and competition down, influence in Europe keeps the flow going.

The prices you pay for energy, transport of goods, etc. is all linked to the global marketplace. More global disorder means more money from your pocket to some corrupt bastard's bank account.

My head is just swimming with everything that's going on! I never paid that much attention to Russia since the Cold War days.

It's like a dream that's not really happening. And I've had a while to get used to it.

None in the West nor Russia respects the notion of sovereignty for any country but their own

That said what I want to find out is how many so called ISIS attacks were really Western or Russian false flag attacks. Some were way too convenient for certain interests.

This, from 3/15/2017:

In a floor speech Wednesday, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) accused Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) of "working for Vladimir Putin," the Washington Examiner reported.

McCain said that any senator that objects to a motion on the floor to support the inclusion of Montenegro into the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) would be "achieving the objectives of Vladimir Putin."

According to the New York Times, Russian actors are being accused of allegedly plotting a coup against the Balkan nation's government.

"I do not say that lightly," McCain continued.
