Has Wisconsin become the definition of ignorant?

Rep Sensenbrenner (of Wisconsin) says "nobody's got to use the internet" in reference to his taking 10's of thousands of dollars for exposing YOUR browsing history and internet privacy.

Paul "Ayn Rand" Ryan required his office staff and campaign people to read, and presumably adhere too, the teachings of Ayn Rand. Which basically means 'fuck you, I got mine so you can just go eat shit and die' ideology.

Our tiny tyrant, and college dropout (or was he expelled?), of a governor says railroads are stupid and infrastructure is somebody else's problem. He can't wait to go on a Koch paid vacation in California when he is finally expelled from Wisconsin.

Glen Grothman is just plain loopy. The list of nuts things he believes is staggering. Having shamed his state office and constituents, he was naturally promoted to Washington. For a list of his wack job stuff just google him.

My state seems to have gone into an anti enlightenment zone. Education means, according to our droppout governor, that research institutions like the university of Wisconsin at Madison must require professors to keep minute by minute records of their activities. This from a politician who couldn't graduate from a religious college that specializes in hand holding its undergrads. Especially white male evangelical undergrads.

We do have an anti idiot zone here though. It's the Madison/Milwaukee corridor which the aforementioned wangers abhor and decry at every opportunity. But hope lives and one day rational thought, inspired by critical thinking, science and truth will out over the demonic crap these horrors have dealt the citizens of Wisconsin.

Hopefully the damage from the protracted exercise in willful ignorance in this state has already bottomed out. Scott Walker, Paul Ryan, and their newly-embraced leader Cheeto Benito are doing the GOP no favors these days.

The counties that hand recounted and those that machine recounted.

The insipid claims of vote hacking have exactly the same evidence of in person voter fraud and deserve the same level of respect.

Have you no idea of what is going on with election theft? False equivalencies are not pertinent.

I live in Minneapolis but visit western WI regularly to sail on Lake Pepin. My observation for the last few years has been that the folks in the small towns along Hwy 35 hate Scott Walker with the fire of a thousand suns. I have seen very few pro-GOP lawn signs along that route, and the merchants in the shops in those towns (especially Stockholm) can really get to ranting about how awful Walker is. So there are a few blue enclaves even outside Madison/Milwaukee. I don't know what happened to WI otherwise, though. I have relatives in the Sturgeon Bay-Green Bay area who are devout right-wingers and they never used to be that way.
