It's not over for the Democrats in GA-06!

Karen Handel is a career politician. She's a "country club" R. There will be plenty of Trump voters who won't vote for Handel.

It's disappointing that Ossoff didn't win outright, but that would have been referred to as a miracle. Ossoff needs to take a day off, chill, then come back ready to fight hard for this Congressional seat. It will be important to keep up the enthusiasm and get out the vote.

2. If he had gotten 40-42% I'd have said he was done

I would have figured he got from the Dems what he was going to get
But nearly striking 50 is a different story
If he can get out the 50% that didn't vote Republican to vote for him and several percent of the roughly 50% that voted for a Republican (any Republikkan), he has a chance

and at the last minute, they will find a "card" or a "file" or some other unforeseen anomaly and the R will "just barely" eek out a win.

Whew! It's really gonna be a nail biter.

And until we talk about their fixing it, it will remain broken.

instead of hold them accountable for their malfeasance. That just emboldens them to ratchet it up a few notches.

Until we get to the bottom of the shit they're pulling with voting machines, it will just continue to happen.

or some such bs.

Which is why it comes down to turnout since it's so close. If enough of our people are energized, then last minute stuff won't matter. Which is why they'll pursue the usual tactics of brazenly suppressing minorities where they can and dare us to do something about it.

Dems need to vote early and lock in those votes.

We can't let their dishonest tactics scare us into backing down or giving up.

She (Handel) thinks the seat is an entitlement because it was from a former congressman that really should be in jail, for stock manipulation-----------

and since Handle thinks she is entitled..... and has her record from the Koman Foundation and Planned Parenthood should be front and center, and now the smear is coming that Ossloff doesn't reside in the district-----------

There are more of US than these cretin's, and since the sexual predator robo call didn't work, maybe they should stick glue in a bag and inhale and see if that works for the pipe dream

And lets not forget one Rob Quist in Montana, he can use the money and help

Breast Cancer Foundation by wanting to defund Planned Parenthood when she was named to the board. I don't think they've ever fully recovered from that debacle. I'm not sure how that angle would play in the district, but many Republican women support Planned Parenthood regardless of what their husbands think.

Of course this does not mean they will not vote for her, but the enthusiasm is just not there. I have lived in this district for 10 years and I have never seen this many yard signs and canvassing for a democrat. Ossoff has more money to spend on ads, and believe me, if you turn on any local tv station or radio down here, you will hear his name. Handel is a terrible campaigner and could not close the deal on her senate and gubernatorial run, when she was the favorite to win in the primaries. The only reason she won this primary was because the male right wingers split the vote. My prediction is Ossoff will win in June with 52% of the vote.

The month for weddings, graduations, vacations, family reunions and just relaxing. I'd speculate that the edge will go to the more engaged and enthusiastic voters because they're the ones who will show up to the polls. Right now those people are Dem or Dem-voting R/Is. If you feel "meh" about a candidate which seems to be the case for Handel, you're less likely to bother to vote.
