Vote on smart phone with multi factor authentication and immediate electronic confirmation. Anything else is less than we can be.

Anything can be hacked, even paper. But go 21st century and the hack can be exposed and repaired instantly.

But I agree, the fewer electronic transfers in the reporting chain, the better the veracity of the vote.

Germany does it, we used to do it before Republicans invented machines to steal elections.
