I got caught up in the Christmas Target hack a couple years back. That was an attempt on a grand scale to rob people of their money and bring down an American business. Throw the book at those responsible.

I'm not letting businesses off the hook entirely here. They should get off their asses and do something to protect their computer systems and databases.
