Good gravy the idiot in chief can't even handle a Purple Heart presentation without screwing it up...

he accepted an honorary Purple Heart during the campaign, which he had absolutely no business accepting, never even having served in the military let alone getting wounded. A decent person of course would have politely declined the gesture, indicating they never served and simply don't deserve the honor. A decent person does that. But of course we are talking about trump here.

Yet another of the endless examples of things trump does that would cause repubs to absolutely shit themselves if a democrat did it. Trump does it, and .... crickets.

According to Trump, that's just as tough as getting shot or blown up. He believes he should have more medals than anyone for what he has been through. The cocaine ate through his septum, doesn't that count for the Medal of Honor?

It's much more of a prep school than anything to do with the military (other than the disciplinary structure).

And that was over 50 years ago.

I think it is clear that Trump does not know what the Purple Heart is and that he thinks it is something akin to the Medal of Honor.

He's using another veteran in a photo op, congratulating him on winning this prize. For Trump, this is probably something to celebrate....like he would with the winner of a beauty pageant.

enlisted will find his proclamations to be corrupt and therefore refuse to obey them. Shit, if I were in the military (I was raised in the military) I would f'ing go AWOL until he left office. Can you imagine if at least 60% of active duty nonComs just up and walked because he doesn't have a sound mind?
