that's an important rule. I'm sure that if people were doing that, those posts would be flagged and removed.

(22,651 posts)The primary could have been exactly what both Sanders and Clinton said, "Let the voters decide" who will run in general election. That's exactly what they both said.
They could have carried that a step further.. "Let the voters decide-The primary winner will run as President, second in primary will be Vice President." Wouldn't that have been a veryyy exciting primary
That team would have worked together very well as President & VP, that team would be President/VP today. I think Hillary would have still won the primary but it would have been a very close FRIENDLY squeaker primary

(11,862 posts)dividing the Democratic party, as if the term 'herding cats' used to mean we were all on one page before Bernie????
When DIDN'T we have both anti abortion and pro choice candidates...I say let's get Democrats IN, THEN go for purity...
I don't think liberal Democrats were replaced by tea party candidates...they went after other conservatives who did not meet their 'purity' test.
GET EM IN FIRST!

(68,586 posts)Look at Feingold. The problem is you can't call for the most progressive Democratic Party in history and then make exceptions for those you like for some reason that are anti-choice as in Nebraska. I am all for the big tent personally and always vote for the candidate with the 'D' next to his name, but I would not endorse an anti-choice candidate. I would not attend a rally for such a candidate. However, if I lived in the district, I would vote for this candidate over a GOP type always.

(29,251 posts)Is curious since you seem to have a lot of Dem spirit.
Schumer and Perez' focus and imploring call to unite should be followed only by those who aren't the least bit uncomfortable with it, apparently.

(6,261 posts)I've never seen that happen before. I thought I must have hit "back" or something. How many times can a post be alerted on if it's already survived a jury?

(25,538 posts)neoliberals, third-way, corporatist puppets suckling at the corporate teat of our corporate overlords, centrists, status quo, establishment, don't care about the middle/working class, something about Glass Stegall, addicts, trolls, and all sorts of offensive lies. That's an important rule. I'm sure if people were doing that, those posts would be flagged and removed. You see, it's like an addiction. When a friend is addicted to something that is harmful to them the people who love that person gently encourage them to wean them off of that harmful substance.

for people who continually re-open primary divisions with OPs claiming that they're tired of apocryphal people re-opening the primary divisions.
R B Garr
(16,954 posts)not even about the primary. Too obvious...
lapucelle
(18,275 posts)It isn't about re-litigating the primaries. It's about sustaining and strengthening the divisions.
