(2,297 posts)In addition, winning in 2017 gives just enough time (about a year) in the job before he starts making moves.

(44,973 posts)He is only 30. So that means he won't be 35 which is a requirement for a presidential candidate.

(67,782 posts)...is at the time that Joe Biden was first elected to the Senate he was too young to take the office. He turned 30 a few weeks after the election.

(7,634 posts)even if he wins the georgia seat, running for president a year or so after is a little early.
Trump had zero political experience, sure enough but it is obvious that we democrats are held to a higher standard.
Personally, I want somebody who had a few years in congress or as a governor. They are much more likely to be effective when they do get elected. Ossof may run for senate in 2020 however. That would be great and place him for running for president the cycle after that.

(11,243 posts)He's adorable, but come on! He is some random hill staffer who is making a strong run in a red state due to an impending Democratic wave. No way he is anywhere near a Senate run, much less Presidential.
Adam Schiff is on the list, maybe, but not this guy.

(11,243 posts)Any reasonable Democrat who can make a strong run in Price's old district has my support. He is young and has a good political demeanor. Seems like a winning combo. I hope he succeeds!

(9,090 posts)that includes 14 limbaugh stations that depend on these universities - Georgia 7, Georgia Tech 5, Georgia Southern 2
at $1000/hr radio infomercial and ad time x 15 hrs/day that's $75,000 worth of anti ossoff per week per station x 14 = about $1MIL/ WEEK attacking ossoff for the next month. will dems even have a clue whats' on those stations and respond to it?

There can be NO DOUBT to his liberal, progressive and Democratic creds. He's definitely ONE OF US!! No questions about that.
