Breaking News: Republicans are very Low Creatures

The Republican use of clips of Hillary criticizing Obama in their ads really grinds me for one reason.

It's generally fair, but not when the person being used is the sitting Secretary of State. Since her job is traditionally non-political she cannot defend herself, or Obama.

Her role in US government precludes her getting involved in the campaign so there is something quite odious in involving her.

But, hey... at an event during the 1992 Republican convention Phil Gramm had an actor dressed as LBJ enter a fundraiser through spooky mist to endorse Gramm from beyond the grave. And LBJ was not in any position to comment on that endorsement.

It's just how they roll.

This was pre-election criticism, correct? I don't think she has any obligation to remain silent... rfranklin Jul 2012 #1

They are misrepresenting her comments as something that applies currently. It's a form of libel. Perhaps she should sue them.

When I saw the ad, I thought to myself, big deal, she doesn't seem to have a problem with Obama now. So what's the big deal with the ad? I know they are trying to make it sound like all Obama does is lie, but I don't think this ad does that. I'm likely wrong, but I don't see this ad making any changes in people's minds. The ones that will believe he lies already are against him. I think everyone knows that Clinton and Obama are friends now.

Well it is understandable. Obama has done what he promised. He looks like a CAN-DO President...soon they will be pulling up the Palin "Paling around with Terrorists" nonsense. Pathetic really.

The Bain Pain.
