I interpreted it as cover for trump. As in, he "didn't know" about Russian interference blah blah blah.

However, they are finally acknowledging Trump aids were in essence Russian operatives, which is pretty startling.

It looks to me like Trump's buddy that owns that tabloid rag is actually pulling a 'CYA' for Trump (possibly at his request) and blaming others in an attempt to deflect the armada load of Trump/Putin (etc) owned septic tank contents heading for a collision w/ Trump and his family.

They must know that things will be coming to a head soon.

If the rumors are true that audiotape exists that directly implicates Trump colluding with Russia to manipulate the election, now is truly the time to leak that information. The right of the people to know the truth about the coup that planted Trump in the White House outweighs the risk of leaking classified material.

Call it the patriotic pre-emptive strike.

AMERICA DESERVES THE TRUTH.
