Pam Bondi "not guilty"; Orlando Sentinel begs to differ

"On Thursday, the state attorney assigned to decide whether Attorney General Pam Bondi did anything wrong when she asked for and accepted $25,000 in campaign cash from Donald Trump — after her office had been asked to investigate Trump University — declared that he found no evidence to say she did.

Of course, there wasn’t much evidence the prosecutor actually looked for evidence either.

In a five-page report, Fort Myers State Attorney Stephen Russell’s office does not cite a single interview his office conducted in the course of reviewing this case.

Nor does it reveal any new evidence the media hadn’t already reported."

this is not a sentence. I think I know what the author was trying to say, but it is not clear.

Thanks for the post. This is disgusting. Clearly all part of the organized crime syndicate that is the GOP.

6. All of the Gulf states AG's at one point or another went after BP for the lost tax revenue

and then they would suddenly shut up as BP got to them, one at a time. At least they raised a stink before BP convinced them to wait until later for their state's lost tax revenue, even Alabama's Luther Strange. Pam Bondi didn't even do that, she never threatened BP. I always thought it was because she knew BP was going to take care of her.

in that it's now encompassing virtually every area of government they are trusted with. I would think that their supporters would be outraged that this is how they govern but evidently that is not the case.

A system of corruption that no one can fix until we find a better way of vetting politicians.

deceiving the federal government on drugs and medicare and medicaid, and you elected him, not once but twice, and now you have a state attorney prosecutor turning a blind eye to someone , the chief law enforcement officer of the state the AG, that accepted a bribe for a campaign contribution to turn a blind eye on a fraud cases, for the sexual predator now being the head cheeto's running the country and bilking "all" of us now to play fucking golf,, and everyone knows the evidence point to quid pro quo as being fact.

But some law enforcement person, , drops the fucking lawsuit of some fraudster bilking Floridians out of money on a get quick rich scheme from a corrupt university that he invented, that wasn't a even a university, by taking $25,000 dollars in donations to get re-elected, and then she runs around mind you, when she delayed a execution in the state, she had to go and get campaign dollars and reschedule the execution to fit her campaign appearances calendar or sign-off on the death warrant-----------------your state is truly fucked up. I mean think that about it for one moment.

I don't support the death penalty, but she was given an order from the court that denied the claim, of the individual to stop the warrant being fulfilled , but she made up her mind to go and get money for a re-election.

Your government down there is a real piece of corrupt work, you run around as being for law and order, but when it comes to being law and order, it's like the three monkeys, no hearing, no seeing and no speaking, you really are truly fucked up, I mean really.

He didn't even interview or conduct a investigation, how much did you state pay for this, hell, I don't even have a law degree, and I can go into the bathroom and get a piece of toilet paper and and make this decision-----amazing, the dots were there and you have someone saying that's dots aren't there------------------------really

This is how your government "normalizes corruption" apparently so?

So now when and if I go on vacation there I pay for all of the BS just so that your government condones bribery---------------why would I want to go there now------------I mean really, if you think about it

is corrupt through and through. Once the GOP gains control through fear-mongering and racial dog whistling, they get down to their real business: racketeering and graft.
