Gotta face facts, there will be no serious investigation of Russia unless we take back the House,

at least. Repuke heads of congressional "investigative" committees, looking at Rump/Russia connections, are stonewalling and delaying. Repukes have no honour or decency, and are quite happy to protect traitors, if that promotes their right wing agenda. Unless there are severe political consequences to their despicable behaviors, Rump will skate.

Our system is so screwed when traitors can take over their own investigations!

They are now truly incentivized in keeping power for themselves for their own legal sake. We already saw how the 2016 election was compromised and tainted. How much further will they go in corrupting the voting process?

This started in 2000 and continued in 2004. Obama was a powerful enough politician to disrupt the cheating. We have to find another Obama before 2010!

And aren't even interested in pursuing the story; but, at the same time, they are hampering *any* pursuit of the story. That makes them ALL complicit.

Oh, but if a Democratic administration had done 1/16th of what 45's has done, there would have been multiple executions by now.

This double standard is so arbitrary and so one-sided, and it's been going on for decades, to the degree that now there are two wholly separate but physically conjoined (for now) universes. It feels configured to produce a sense of powerlessness.

Which is all the more reason to not give in to them.

and Rs also know what is at stake in '18
To be honest my only hope is it is only 4 years but look as recrntly as bush II and how Kerry was attacked.

And the Republicans can remain complicit at their own peril. Once the lid is off, they cannot slow walk any longer.

Think that's going to happen? Think we'll get some Dems with backbone? I haven't seen much evidence of widespread vertebral columns among the current crop of D pols.
