Hitting too close to home

My darling 24 year old environmentalist progressive daughter has been working hard to keep her shit together since November, even going so far as to call me too negative in my FB posts. ( Go figure... 😉 .

Just got a sad text from her - "hope there isn't a government shutdown." I did my best to reassure her.

All the world's young people deserve to live with hope and optimism and a vision for a brighter future.
