I think one of our shortcomings as Democrats is the feeling that once we've said something, its inherent truthfulness will overcome all opposition and we'll carry the day. Oh, maybe repeat it once or twice just to cover a couple of news cycles, but that should be enough for everyone to get it.

Republicans, on the other hand, know their people aren't real S-M-R-T. So they repeat their talking points over and over until their fans not only get it right, but it's so ingrained that they can't get it wrong. If Rachel Maddow's doing that for the Russian takeover, all the better. Regular viewers will have good information readily at hand, supplemented with new developments as they occur.

Just trickling into MSM today, she broached it last week.

I love this independent WOMAN and her BRAIN, two fierce assets that 45's nationalist-cult is absolutely lacking.
