Famed Watergate journalist Carl Bernstein says that the investigation into former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn could end up revealing a “cover-up” of alleged connections between President Donald Trump's team and Russia.

“There, he is central to what the FBI believes is a cover-up going on among people close to the president of the United States about what happened with the Trump campaign and Russia,” Mr Bernstein, who is now a CNN commentator, said. "The FBI, the congressional investigators are trying to learn what happened. And Flynn is almost like the ball of yarn that begins to unspool and is key to understanding it."

Mr Bernstein said that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, now that he is leading the Justice Department's probe into Russia's role alleged in the election, will eventually see that there is a cover-up as well.

"He is going to see, ‘Oh my god, there’s a cover-up going on,’" Bernstein said.

The reason they gave for firing Flynn was total bullshit, especially after Shitler defended him for three weeks and said Flynn was just doing his job.

Until Congress serves a subpoena, there is nothing there. They can lie with impunity.

The trump White House's real exposure is likely being revealed though. They were warned about Flynn and they appointed him anyway and he turns out to be a foreign agent. Why did they want him as National Security Advisor? Because he is part of the coup?

The answer is you do not. Ask for the FBI's background check documents. There are most likely some false statements in there.

Him away in a second if that would make their problems go away. They are covering for themselves because once this convuluted ball of thread starts unwinding, they are all in trouble. Now, they just want him to stay silent, as does Russia. I wouldn't be surprised if he, like Chaffetz, came down with an odd and timely illness, but maybe his will be fatal...Putin style.
