We've got a lot of stupid to deal with these days, and no good ideas about how to counteract it.

See also Hanlon's Razor.

You can go around stupidity.
You can make stupidity trip over itself.
Stupidity is its own reward.

You can make stupid people think they won even when they lose. Hence the tRump voters are still "not tired of winning" yet.

Appeal to their emotions. Tell them what they want to hear, which is that you're going to make their lives better.

Focusing on gay rights, Trump's misogyny, the rights of illegal aliens, or to some extent -- the environment, isn't going to make their lives better.

You need to focus on the economy, job creation, and better jobs.

Democrats are far better when it comes to the economy than are Republicans, yet Republicans control the narrative. Why is that?
