Closing my online savings acct. w/Barclay's
No Irish Need Apply it seems.My husband and I both have some rather obvious Irish surnames.
He served in the Korean War for a few years (was drafted) and I am the daughter of a family of Irish immigrants from the Great Famine.
This said, I received a "6 month check" on our status as citizens of the USA a few days ago. Barclay's has claimed to have done this in the past every 6 mos. but I don't recall such a *check*.
So, I shall be closing our joint savings acct. with Barclay's bank as soon as I can get our money out of there as they suck ass IMO.
Just FYI & yeah, No Irish Need Apply it seems to me!!
