A civil war fought to divide between slave states and free states the spoils of the Mexican American war.

Both sides fought with generals trained in that war, making it the bloodiest war even fought on American soil.

If ever there was something to be called Montezuma's revenge, this was it.

President Trump is saying that a deal could have totally been worked out. If some folks had just given a little, we wouldn't have forced all those slaveholders to go to war. What's the big deal about freedom, anyway? Couldn't all those slaves have just been more patient, and continued to work for nothing, get tortured and raped and stuff? Why couldn't they work something out?

DAMN, but this fuckhead is ignorant. And reading the comments to the story online (never read the comments), his asshole defenders are in full "get over it, snowflake" mode. I'm not making nice with these people. They're unreachable at this time.
