We are barely over 80F today, which is almost 40F (YES, FORTY DEGREES) cooler than what it can and often is this time of year. 115F+ is almost common June-Sep here.

This is our third weirdly moderate summer in a row, and while I am loving it, it is also unsettling. One wonders how and when we will pay, because we surely will.

These summers have been strange, no June gloom then very few extremely hot days the rest of the summer.

Instead of, or rather in addition to, June Gloom in February and July and September and such........

Been all kinds of wacky here with the weather for 2 1/2 years.

I lived in PHX for my first 23 years. Never remember a summer day that low, maybe mid 80's with high humidity, but even that was rare.

had to put up with me when i was 6 months old in 1947...hottest 3 days in northern illinois ever. we`ll tie that record tomorrow and i`ll be watching my 9 month old granddaughter in the comfort of an air conditioned home.

we complained when we lost power for a day and half. there`s people in the chicago suburbs who still do`t have power.

I am so tired, I'm pretty sure I won't be able to stay up for the fireworks (we watch from the roof of our house where we can see several towns).

Tomorrow, Friday, Saturday are going to be terrible as well. Stay cool DUers!

shorts and a tank top even if I freeze or have to wear a coat. At least it isn't raining, for some odd reason.
