It's so completely responsive, communicative.

The little whale is absolutely fascinating. It's so quick, so clever. It acts completely playful.

Won't be able to forget it for a long time.

He does come in right around eye-level with them, too. Very, very interesting.

about them, to become aware there are actual beings living in the same world they infest.

Maybe as they get older memories of the beautiful immediacy and consciousness they saw in the whale will finally register with them on a conscious level, and deepen them.
