They've been directly briefed, or they have heard it from those who have been directly briefed.
Here's the problem: Ds are waiting for a couple of powerful Rs to step forward and let the public know what the traitor and his cabal have done. They realize that if they - the Ds - make the announcements, that it will be characterized as partisan sniping by those same Rs.
The Rs, on the other hand, realize that the longer they can delay the information coming out, the better their chances post-release to characterize the Ds as fellow enablers of the traitor tRump. You can hear their spin: "hey, the Ds all knew this info months ago. Why didn't they step forward and tell the public? That's what an opposition party is supposed to do. Why would Rs step forward when the opposition party didn't think it was a big enough deal to bring it forward?"
Someone with guts needs to step up and do the right thing.

(25,266 posts)have a March On Washington D.C. and throughout the country that is bigger than the Women's March the day after the inaugural.
The American People need to put the pressure on their Senators and Congressmen/women to do the right thing.
The American People need to march, call their Representatives, use social media, converge on local offices of their Representatives and put so much pressure on them that they have no alternative than to take solid and sound action against this president.
The threat of these Representatives losing their jobs will bring them to their knees.
This has got to be the biggest mass demonstration across the country - ever.

(1,129 posts)Why would a DEM expose Classified Intel when KGOP has majority and can simply take no action?
Sure they all know.... hell, we all know...
at this point, need the state AG's to bring out all info thru RICO cases...
Which then will shift the playing field enough for Legislative branches to address thru impeachment process...

(11,996 posts)Then we would know about it...or should.
"Classified" or "ongoing" is bullshit excuses to not let us know what there is. The country is mired in this crap till what there is gets out there.

(12,894 posts)there's nothing strange about that. And I don't expect them to reveal what is actually going on behind the scenes. That's not how ANY investigation is done.

(16,973 posts)reason to want to take Donald down just for the sheer payback of his nastiness. Of course, there are real crimes here, too, so there's that. This info is too damaging to keep quiet about.

(7,813 posts)The Democrats ARE shouting at the top of their lungs, but we can't seem to get anyone's attention, least of all the MSM.
The rethugs are staying quiet and doing their dirty work of dismantling every benefit the people have enjoyed since the New Deal. How can they not be choking back the bile with every word the say?

(51,129 posts)Rosenstein and Boente already met with Senate Intel last week, so they already know Trump is indicted. The process is unfolding apace.
Subpoenas were issued for Flynn associates by the Grand Jury indicting Trump, Manafort, Flynn, and others.
EXCLUSIVE: Sealed Indictment granted against Donald Trump
Given these circumstances and trump's own admissions, impeachment should follow in due order. Remember, it took 400 days to get rid of Nixon. This is moving very fast.

(658 posts)...if someone has already said this, but Maxine Waters and Eric Swalwell have already stepped up and brought it forward. Waters talks openly about his Trumps ties to Russia and his inevitable impeachment, while Swalwell has said with conviction that there is in fact classified evidence that proves collusion.

(8,385 posts)As long as Trump has majority Republican support amongst citizens, the GOP isn't going to do a thing.
It's maddening. I'm hoping for this nightmare to be over sooner rather than later.
