It's not an exaggeration to note that the Republicans support the sperm, not the victim. yardwork Jul 2012 #1
I have seen Repukes make the victim pay for her own rape kit (necessary for investigation/conviction LiberalLoner Jul 2012 #2

They introduce and vote for laws all the time that prove that they care nothing whatsoever about victims of rape, and care only about the sperm.

and exam. I have seen Repuke followers say "Rape victims should die."

I have seen many, many, many many people of unknown political persuasion blame the victims of rape, including children who are raped.

Every time I run into those attitudes it makes me (as a rape/incest victim) wish I were dead.

White males, fetuses, and corporations are persons.

Everything else is their property.

and if the woman is poor and has to quit her entry level job because day care is out of reach on that income and has to go on assistance. Well she is just shootin out babies to collect a check. Of course, that is if Republicans don't get their fondest wish of eliminating the safety net, then of course she can either be a prostitute or beg in the streets. The sperm advocates make me sick. I hope they lose the house and senate big time. I don't think they have a real shot at the WH.

Gov. Bobby Jindal: "I am 100 percent anti-abortion with no exceptions. I believe all life is precious."

Sen. David Vitter: (Washington, D.C.) – The U.S. Senate today passed U.S. Sen. David Vitter’s amendment to S.1200, the Indian Health Care Improvement Act, prohibiting the use of federal Indian Health Service (IHS) funds for abortions, except to save the life of the mother, or in cases of rape or incest of a minor.

Rep. John Fleming: "The medical and scientific communities are clear: life begins at conception. I am wholeheartedly committed to protecting the defenseless and innocent. And I’ll continue to do everything in my power to protect the sanctity of life."

Gov. Mitt Romney: "Mitt believes that life begins at conception"

So we see here that Governor Jindal, Governor Romney, and Representative Fleming would be in favor of the rapist's offspring while Senator Vitter would be in favor of the mother's right to choose.
