Would be nice if it were permanent!

Sean Hannity is taking a couple days off amid a growing advertiser boycott after pushing a conspiracy theory involving a slain Democratic National Committee staffer.
So far, seven advertisers have pulled out of Hannitys show after he continued to promote a baseless story that claimed the staffer, Seth Rich, was murdered possibly for releasing DNC emails to Wikileaks. Fox News retracted its story six days after first posting it, saying in a statement it "was not initially subjected to the high degree of editorial scrutiny we require for all our reporting."
Despite the retraction and pleas from Rich's parents to stop peddling a conspiracy theory about their son that had been discredited by Snopes, Factcheck.org, Poynter and numerous news agencies Hannity defiantly pushed the theory on his radio show before agreeing to drop it "for now" on his Fox News program.
Cars.com was the first advertiser to announce it was pulling ads, telling Buzzfeed News on Wednesday afternoon that weve been watching closely and have recently made the decision to pull our advertising from Hannity.

to rig the vote. Brunner got death threats as a result of Hannitys lies. Fuck him w/a fire hose.

Sean has made big bank and even if and or when Fox he will get a nice
payout and then he can go give talks to the mouth breathers for lots of
money.
This last conspiracy theory that Sean was pushing was just a cover
story in order to take the heat off Trump and company with their
Russia helping to rig the elections problems.

(22,671 posts)Hannity isn't news, as that organization has often repeated publically. Hannity is entertainment.
So this is more about the lengths to which Fox Entertainment is will to go repeating immoral propaganda in the pursuit of ratings than about news that wasn't properly scrutinized. They went too far and got bit.
