Bet the Trump family is sorry now.

The Trump family is most likely wishing they could turn the clock back to the day before Trump came down that escalator.

This whole "president" thing is unraveling so fast you can barely catch your breath. It is going to end up ruining the whole family.

And it is the culture of corruption in that family that will be their own undoing.

No disrespect to those in section 8 housing but it would be so great to see their circumstances reduced to that. From Jared the slum lord to Jared the slum dweller.

If he lost he would have the largest audience on the planet right now, making an absolute fortune doing nothing but whining about Hillary Clinton, instead he's being sized up for an orange jumpsuit and will be sitting in a prison cell.

that his presidential announcement was weird. Going down on an escalator? To me it should have been an up escalator signifying a rise and a cure for all the "problems" he would solve. Instead, IMO, it signified going to hell which it's tuned out to be.

It's a bad idea if a GOOD businessman is in charge, but this compromised, corrupt, insecure, pathologically lying bully with a long history of failed businesses and underhanded treatment of those who were unlucky enough to deal with him?

He has ALL the worst traits you don't want to see in someone trying to lead.

they are perceived outside of their own bubble.

They're not reading DU. They're not watching MSNBC. They're not seeing the postings on FB slamming Trump and all around him.

They have no idea what most people actually think of him. Or them.

Could see the whole exercise would not end well. I don't know how the Trumps and the deplorables could even be surprised that this disaster has come to pass.

Nobody wanted to go to his hotels except deplorables who couldn't afford to, owners at his properties wanted the Trump name removed, his brand had taken a massive hit. Ivanka's clothing line was being dropped from stores, and they couldn't get loans domestically. Of course, he always had money laundering to fall back on ...
