Montana election results ...

Right now they show 25% reporting and have it tied at 47% each

You can get real-time updates here

http://mtelectionresults.gov/resultsSW.aspx?type=FED&map=CTY

Also, that includes 268 partially reported precincts.. I have never heard of that, most elections either report the full precinct or not include it at all. Maybe Montana has their own way of doing elections.

If a majority is needed, maybe there will be a run off.

I was hoping they had an interactive map but so far have only found this...

are actually the mailed-in ballots, and that the on-site ballot results will come later.

Or maybe the reverse?

Hard to imagine Quist winning. Almost all the big counties are in and he's down a substantial amount (for Montana). Gianforte is going to win this by 5+ points. Probably a bit closer than it would have had he not body slammed the reporter on the eve of the election but still a comfortable margin.

"We whole-heartedly support Greg. We love him," said Karen Screnar, a Republican voter who had driven all the way from Helena to support Gianforte. Screnar said she and her husband have known Gianforte for the better part of a decade. After Gianforte was charged with misdemeanor assault, Screnar said she was only "more ready to support Greg."

"We've watched how the press is one-sided. Excuse me, that's how I feel. (They're) making him their whipping boy so to speak through this campaign," Screaner said. "There comes a point where, stop it."

Her husband, Terry, chimed in that he believed Gianforte was "set up."

Russian psyops are winning against our stupid, stupid, citizenry. Fake news. Being emboldened to support an assaulter even MORE vigorously.

I really don't know how we turn this around. We need someone strong who can go toe to toe with these evil people. We have to take the gloves off at some point.

I hope this is mostly due to early voting, otherwise it will just confirm my depressing opinion that red state voters have absolutely zero standards.
