On Wednesday, police in Berkeley, California arrested a former Diablo Valley College professor for an April 2016 bludgeoning spree on Donald Trump supporters in the city.
Eric Clanton, who taught at the school in nearby Pleasant Hill in 2015 and 2016, is suspected of using a U-shaped bicycle lock to strike three pro-Trump supporters on the head on April 15. The three were participating in a counter-protest of an anti-Trump Tax Day protest in the notoriously left-wing city.
The East Bay Times covered Clantons arrest in a Wednesday report. The philosophy instructor was arrested on three counts of suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon that isnt a firearm and assault causing great bodily injury.
The Times write-up disclosed that homicide detectives handled the investigation because of the seriousness of the assaults, police said. Law enforcement officers found Clanton after serving a warrant in Oakland.

(2,337 posts)for you to think they "deserve" being beaten bloody with a U-lock?
In the videos I saw, some coward in a black hood and mask springs from behind some protesters, strikes a random person in the head with the lock, then leaps backwards through the protesters he hid behind to flee and do it again.
