Just a few days ago I read an article by neuroscientists who speculated that Trump's deteriorating speech might be from age-related dementia. Trump was a sophisticated talker with the vocabulary of an educated man in the 1980s and 90s, you wouldn't believe. But nowadays he talks on the level of a 10yo.



As for myself, I'm speculating that he is not merely lying to further his goals. I think he has actual mental problems keeping reality and imagination apart. And that's a sign of schizophrenia.

What to expect of a guy who has lived a life with the sense of entitlement and demand for loyalty he has? We had no clue. He is beyond our experience and he is in way over his head being what is essentially an employee who has to meet demands other than those he has chosen and defined.
That this far outside of our experience doesn't make his behavior only explainable by pathology.

We should all be very afraid - or defiant. I think a mass resistance is in order; something that will wake up the GOP and let them know the "unwashed masses" have power, not the lobbyists who line their pockets.

He's already a very old 70-year-old, and he's in TERRIBLE physical shape. He probably gets sundowners after dark, and the fact that he very probably uses drugs (i.e. cocaine and. . .?) makes it a wonder he can even talk at all, but of course I wouldn't characterize ANY of his word salad as "talking."

and I would guess he's starting his "fake" dementia act to get his butt out of trouble with the FBI/government on the Russia and financial charges coming his way. If anyone knows how to get beyond a bald-faced lie, it's Trump. I'm sure he's been practicing since childhood and has his act down pat.

When he wandered off before signing a bill leaving Pence and Ross and two other people shocked/embarrassed. Many said it was a reaction to question but the question was asked as he already was walking out door. He is for sure having mental issues. I also think it is why he is so reckless. He can't remember any coaching. Thing about mental issues, they all accelerate under stress. I think 120 days as POTUS have ham hurtling to being unable to function by year's end.

I did watch the entire You Tube vid below, and this short snippet again. As much as I dislike Trump, this may be a bit overblown.

Dislike is actually a weak word - loathe is more like it.

And I do think he's got some cognitive problems. But I'm not convinced this is real, or that it wasn't taken way out of context.
