These idiots showed up at rallies, yes, but they did not organize those rallies. Various parts of the Republican machine did.

Although the Republican machine was the ones pulling the strings, they (Tea Party) still played a part including some organizing. And they also went out and voted! Unseating some Republicans and replacing them with their Tea Party candidate.

But unlike a lot of Democrats, they realize the general election is where you back the party.

They were organized, that didn't organize shit. They did exactly what those pulling the strings wanted done.
