It's the fact that people can say something that stupid and not immediately have everyone in their vicinity just point at them and laugh that enables it.

Just today I heard a right-wing caller AND read a LTTE. Both claimed that to fund "Obamacare" Medicare was being gutted of $500 million.

We have lots of folks (hello, Faux Noise) who are happily making sure the fearful and not so bright are totally and completely misinformed.

DON'T STEAL PROFIT FROM THE 1% TO SAVE THE 99%.

Sadly I cannot see the logic of how in America
Socialized Medicine had become a bad word.

For this to happen the society need to go through a major shift.
If such can happen then maybe it is time every one reflect on where now America stand as a society.

BE BRAVE, BE PROUD, BE HUMAN.

There is nothing to lose but your freedom your liberty and your happiness of all your future generation.

Fight back.

Although the Republican machine was the ones pulling the strings, they (Tea Party) still played a part including some organizing. And they also went out and voted! Unseating some Republicans and replacing them with their Tea Party candidate.

I ran into some dumb kid on YouTube who's going to be old enough to vote for the first time and he's a Ron Paul Supporter and he's convinced Obama crashed the economy by increasing welfare for "his own kind".

He doesn't see a problem with FOX News because they back up their stuff with links to World Net Daily, the Washington Times, The New York Post, Newsmax, Drudge....etc....

I'm beginning to think maybe this is some left-wing conspiracy - liberals pretending to be stupid conservatives to make them look bad? Its just I cannot imagine people being THIS stupid.

This was the result of a very conscious effort. There was a certain amount of time and effort put into making that sign and going to a demonstration to display it, when that person could have stayed home and watched Ice Road Truckers. We are seeing the true decline of civilization.

something you pay into when you are working with payroll taxes. They think this is different than giving people free socialized medicine since this is the case. This is wrong of course because people tend to benefit more from Medicare than what they paid into it.
