benedict donald did what he had to do with the paris agreement to make the story about him

if someone had been clever enough to let him insist on some "trump amendment" that did who knows what, then he could would have been happy to go along with the paris agreement provided he gets his special something.

he doesn't care about policy, he just needed, as always, for the story to be about him.

he couldn't make the paris story about him by just going along with an agreement made under obama and where america is merely one of a couple hundred countries.

so he made the story about him the only way he could.

by leaving.

it's what he does.

that's all he really cares about.

the problem is the other republicans who want the tax cut for the rich, they have to figure out who to screw in order to finance that.

He doesn't care that what he does is likely to infuriate a lot of people (like almost the whole world) because he gets lots of attention that way. And that's what he thrives on.
