(10,252 posts)But he might "resign" for health reasons, personal reasons, family reasons, face-saving reasons. The longer he stays, the greater I suspect the depth of his stupidity. But I suspect you're right. His only contribution is to silently estimate how someone can be used and to what degree.

(10,063 posts)With his inability to understand complex ideas, his poor memory, and lack of stamina, Trump may not be able to fire Jared (presumably Ivanka would go too) because Jared and Ivanka sit in meetings and then probably later explain to him what was said and what he should think. If he has beginning Alzheimer's disease, he may not be able to function completely on his own. Trump may not realize that, but I'll bet Ivanka and Jared do.
