One would think when it came out they lied us into a war the whole country would have rioted against them.

That's supposed to be the end of the conversation. Anything following that is you making excuses and whining as far as their brain records.

I say, "Because Bush lied to Congress too."

Bush claimed he need the resolution to AVOID a war because only a resolution authorizing the use of force would be taken seriously by Saddam. Then when Bush invaded the big laugh on the Right was when Democrats said, "We didn't think he'd use it".

Further, Bush issued a letter to Congress saying it was okay to invade Iraq as part of a prior congressional authorization to go after those behind 9/11.

Another lie.

Turns out the WMD claims were lies too based on raw intelligence spun just like the same Neocons did when they were Team B under Reagan.

About that time their brains fade out so I tell them to suck my toes.

I used to be one. So not only do I thoroughly loathe them with every fiber of my being, but I have to put up with all the people in my life that still are, or have become rethugs trying to convince me to think their way. They're a persistently panicky bunch of mooks that think the reason I'm not a rethug is that they just haven't articulated their positions clearly enough, when the truth is I know what they're about and I want no part of it. No use preaching to a choir that hates your ass.

I don't think Romney will have significant coat tails. Dems may even win back the House! Go, Speaker Pelosi!

I'm tired of politicians in general.

However, I'm more frustrated with Dino's than I am with pubs at this point. At least with the pubs I know what to expect.

If only we had a strong, smart, determined Dem party. They might even piss me off even more than the Repubs. At least we know where they stand.

I agree Texas sucks but I also would not live in such a place either.

You should move or stop whining about the place.

I met some lovely women that were very caring, fed the homeless, made up care paks for people in shelters..

But, on the subject of Pres Obama... Deep seated bias.. Ugly and upsetting... Fox viewers, of course..

Good luck, It's hard to uproot if the job is in Texas..

Because I'm sooooo thrilled that I need to see Mitten's face plastered all over the news again! He was my unwilling governor. And contrary to what a lot of people seem to think about him supporting "Romneycare" and liberal programs, he was actually very much against them. We had legislative sessions where you'd just see series of veto-overrides.
