so it looks like those murderous punks were stopped just in time.

Friends in the area are up late, nerves shattered more by the explosions than anything else. The police issued no warning that they'd take place.

I would have been rattled by those myself. I wouldn't be sleeping the rest of the night either. I can't imagine what they are going through.

Update: BBC says police reporting attackers were wearing "hoax explosive vests."

Manchester was a lone wolf, today's attacks may be more lone wolves. Which is why I am surprised that they are already calling it terrorism, when no named group has claimed responsibility. No named group would mean that it is not terrorism.
