UK prof responds to Trump tweet: "Were you genetically engineered to be this stupid?"
This from a professor of EU, Human Rights and World Trade Law at the University of Essex, responding to Trump's idiotic attempt to make an anti-gun-control argument out of the attacks in London last night:

I'm sure they are all convinced by the "logic" of Trump's comment, which in the end is just a rephrasing of an NRA talking point. If we didn't allow guns, killers would use knives and trucks. So let's give everyone in the country, including alcoholics, drug addicts, mentally ill people, and children a hundred assault weapons each. Because it's just as easy to cause a massacre in a mall using a knife or a truck as it is using a gun. And if everyone had a gun, someone would have killed the knife-wielder or the truck driver before he harmed anyone. Because no one would ever make a mistake and kill an innocent person. And no one would ever lose his mind and kill his friends or loved ones or himself in a fit of rage or depression. 
It's mind-boggling that anyone could be that stupid, but the reality is that huge swaths of America are that stupid.

Fred's genes had to be spliced into Mary's genes. No way she was she fucking anyone with her swooping kevlar hair. Might hurt the coif.
Obviously by some scientist who was annoyed by Fred's racism and Mary's hair, so he decided it would be amusing to genetically reduce brain size in the offspring. Nine months later - Trump.
Little did he know his joke would be on the world. Still, he probably died laughing. Not so the rest of us.

It's not secret that ISIS gets a lot of their weapons from Saudi Arabia - a country who Trump himself gave $110 billion in arms to. So congratulations, Donald, you just armed the terrorists. If we're fighting a war on terror, does that make him an accessory after the fact?
