Gore: Trump administration comes off as 'tongue-tied and confused' about climate crisis
Former Vice President Al Gore on Sunday said the Trump administration appears to be "tongue-tied" regarding the issue of climate change.
During an interview on ABC's "This Week," Gore said Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt has a "difficult job."
"The administration comes off as tongue-tied and confused about the climate crisis because the truth is still inconvenient for the large carbon polluters," Gore, a leading voice on the dangers of climate change, said.
"And they don't want to stop the polluting of the atmosphere. It interferes with their business plan."
