and they like the divide and conquer. Fuck that shit though. All day long.
We are a united party focused on the high treason committed in order to perpetrate a coup against the will of the American People. FUCK their semantics.
Do not let them frame the fucking narrative.
The narrative is an authoritarian right wing coup was perpetrated against the USA through a coordinated effort of Russians and the kGOPee Party. Cyber war is an act of war. We were attacked by a hostile foreign country and are living in a coup right now.
High treason. Plain and simple. Not *our* message. THEIR treason. Not *our* wounds...THEIR espionage.
Fuck these motherfuckers and their lying bullshit.

(30,481 posts)It's a hit over at freerepublic. I love that it's stated right up front that they talked to a dozen democrats. Some people simply need a soft and fuzzy right wing source to confirm their already held beliefs.

(9,705 posts)it becomes obvious she should be sitting in the Oval Office. They do not want that, shut her down..I doubt it will work and hope she continues to have a loud a forceful voice.

(58,785 posts)In every era only some in a party are really happy with their eventual nominee, but in this one we know there are giant outside conspiracies to take us all down by fooling US into rejecting our best leaders, leaving us with less effective ones they believe they can finish off later. We also know their work is going on right here on DU, the most important liberal and Democratic social media site on the web.
Doubt that? 2020 is 3-1/2 years away. Why the flood of anti-Hillary, anti-others messages now?
As said, they have managed to systematically divide the American electorate to the point that the right half might as well be crazy -- since they behave like it. Now the conspirators are focusing harder on breaking the Democratic Party that has always kept them from achieving their various goals. They've never managed to destroy us before, but if they are to win in 2020 they will need a lot of help from us.
We are known not just by our principles but by the enemies they earn us. I'm actually very proud of both. If I hadn't already registered as a Democrat before, I would now. And our enemies would have to pry our best and top leaders from my cold, dead hand because that's the only way they'd get my cooperation.
These smug pilots have lost touch with regular passengers like us. Who thinks I should fly the plane?

(47,209 posts)And people were shocked to find out I believed that was condescending.
Seriously- does anyone here need a recap on why Trump is bad? Yet I got paragraph after paragraph about it. It's a long winded way of saying "get over it".
LaydeeBug
(10,291 posts)Because if THAT didn't happen, everything else is trifles.
It's "divide and conquer" and those participating in *EVERY* way fell for it.

(550 posts)There may be some disagreement over whether or not it ended in an A or ER...but that's just semantics. He said it. The fact that he apologized for saying it is fairly compelling proof that he did say it.

(90,690 posts)As for the authors of Shattered, I saw their interview about the book and they were the smuggest pair I've seen in a long time. "Doomed" campaign? What a pre-determined conclusion from people who afaict relished her loss, the country be damned.

(14,040 posts)I'm serious. An Independent who refuses to join the Democratic Party wants more say in shaping the Party than Clinton is "allowed" when it comes to speaking about how this election may have been stolen.
It seems people have a hard time fathoming that a lot of Americans still want to hear what SHE has to say.

(25,858 posts)He gets roundly criticized whenever he goes off and campaigns for a Democrat.
Maybe I've missed something, but I don't seem to see Hillary out there campaigning for Democrats in recent, mostly special elections.

(10,829 posts)Absolutely. Sick and tired of this meme the HRC should sit down and shut up. We were attacked and continue to be attacked, a war of disinformation and as stated, an authoritative coup. Donald Trump is illegitimate and his inner circle and howling supporters, including most of the GOP, sold their souls to the highest bidders.
Traitors, pure and simple. As you said LadyeeBug, that is the only narrative.

(47,209 posts)I think one issue or one leader is a narrow and counter productive. We need to build a deep bench. People like HRC and Biden should be help developing and support new talent. Leaders will emerge.

They won't be able to compete if they have to deal with truth or facts, just shut up and build up their weak egos.
The country has suffered from this philosophy since before the Revolution.
Clinton has pointed this out by stating that if you can't take the heat get out of politics.

(3,077 posts)I understand the divide and conquer. I also understand that not all Democrats want her to speak out. Some want her to go away. The party is divided and still trying to figure out how to unify. As long as she is in the equation in any way, there are going to be people using her words against her and against the party. Some see her as a sore loser fixating on a loss. I know she won the majority but regardless of that, she isn't in the White House. When she speaks, she is still the Greed Over Principles party's boogeyman. Others are inspired by her and that gives them hope. Some are angry at HRC and the DNC. Then there are the purists and extremes. A lot of dynamics at play. She is ammo for many.
