Can you think of any other GOP candidate that would have been easier to beat than Romney?

Stop and think about this for a minute. In these time having a person like Romney who is the epitome of a 1%er who's only real claim to fame is sending jobs out of the country.

Think about that for a minute.

I personally can't think of anyone who would have been easier to beat in November.

That is why the freepers are already talking crazy shit like Texas seceding from the Union after President Obama kicks Romney's ass real good.

Even being as stupid they are they have figured this out already.

I watched a washed up B-movie actor who's only real claim to fame was starring in a movie with a chimpanzee and the chimpanzee was the smart one of the two.

He was elected by a landslide ... twice.

Live and learn.

Because the asshole I remember as Ronald Reagan sure didn't strike me as having any charm. He was a fuckhead.

Maybe some ignorant fuckwits thought he was charming and voted for him but I sure didn't.

Primarily because the anti-Obama hatred is so intense.

I have many, many friends who vote Republican simply because they are Republicans. No logic, no facts, and no discussion will budge them from that point of view.

the same as the GOP voters. And there vote counts as least as much as ours.

But to your question, sure, there are many that would have been easier.

Stupid slogans like that could have easily have won enough votes for him.

Without the boatload of blonds in his past he could have done it.

Chain in America as an adequate qualification for being leader of the free world.

Though all the leading contenders except Romney are cuckoo - I will grant that it would have been at least conceivably possible that Newt Gingrich or Rick Perry could have mounted a competitive campaign. Michele Bachmann and Rick Santorum would not have been viable candidates. Those two - like the Pizza guy would have turned the election into an easy cake walk for Obama.

Actually Mitt is their strongest and most viable candidate. He has at least a 40% to 45% chance of winning in November and becoming President of the United States. .
This unfortunately is reality.

20. The Sum Of Its Parts...
Sun Jul 8, 2012, 10:24 AM
Jul 2012

Each "candidate" in the rushpublican clown car derby had major flaws. From the weird ramblings of the Cainanator to the dog whistles of Gingrich to the anti-woman santorum. The rushpublican party is bitterly divided among its special intersts that have quieted down since the end of the primaries but the divisions remain deep and simmering below the surface. When all the candidates were running Rmoney never polled higher than the lower 20s...and other than the flavor of the moment, no other candidate did either. Thus all were beatable...since each candidate, including Willard, reflect a fraction of the party's "core". Mitten's ineptness as a candidate is what we're seeing now, but surely we'd see that with all the other clowns who could have won the nomination and I expect we'll see more as Rmoney continues to have to convince his own corrupt and inept party to support him. Nonetheless, 40% of voting Americans will gladly vote against their best interest cause they just don't like the colored fella...

Cheers...

Major setback in Afghanistan.

Terrorist attack somewhere.

Crop failure across the midwest leading to high food inflation.

Trade war with Asia breaks out.

Federal Reserve does Quantitative Easing 3, and it has no effect.

We could get hit by a meteorite next month.

Germans might attack Pearl Harbor again.

Shoot, anything could happen between now and November.

We better have a contingency plan for all of the possibilities.

Because the really loopy ones (Bachmann, Santorum, Cain) forced Romney to move very far to the right. The Democrats will eat him alive with his own words.
