I am seriously going to call tomorrow and order the London Police Department doughnuts. (Do not laugh...I am serious! lol)
I could do a Google search, but thought if any one on DU had some suggestions? I would call tomorrow and place an order for dozen of doughnuts to be delivered to the London Police Center. The police need support and understanding right now...not criticism! When someone is down, I have never seen a reason to kick them some more.

(51,308 posts)They had the terrorists neutralized in less than 10 minutes from what I understand.
Last time I was in England, there were no doughnut shops that I knew of. But I wasn't looking for them lol. International city, there might be.

(10,303 posts)While I think the OP's gesture is absolutely wonderful, honestly some money towards an appropriate charity will be much more appreciated.
The Met train for this type of scenario regularly, and have done so for decades.
One would have to buy a lot of doughnuts. .. The Met has more officers than the NYPD.
I also think some of the officers would redistribute such a gift to the London Ambulance Service and the nearby hospitals that treated the victims of the attack.
One thing the victims won't have is a medical bill.
However if the OP wants to.... krispykreme.co.uk - there's plenty in London.

(21,743 posts)I never eat donuts in the summer, but during the school year I make up for it. Almost every day someone brings donuts and the teacher's lounge is always well stocked. They are hard to resist. Especially if you are hungry!

(1,537 posts)I stayed in a hotel on Brick Lane when I went to London. Just down the street. I remember it was pretty tasty. Maybe some delivery curry would also be a great idea. Catering size.

(1,007 posts)And as far as a preference of doughnuts, I put it out there because I was not sure what Londoners preferred. Thank you for the suggestions of what they might like over there....and most have a sweet tooth...so was thinking that in that direction.
And thank everyone for the helpful links...I will check them out to.
