The more I hear, the more I like Gov. O'Malley

Guys, am I the only one? Everything I hear out of the mouth of Maryland Gov. O'Malley lately to me spells Progressive. The guy is willing to call a spade a spade, he does not mince words and he looks about as real a progressive Democrat as I've seen lately, both in the way he talks and acts. We can only hope that he has greater future aspirations...

Schweitzer knows how to make the Reichwingers eat their own words and he frustrates the hell out of them.
Schweitzer is great at the soundbite game that you need on TV and he's got a great sense of humor.

All in all, I think the Dems have a deeper pool of credible and talented politicians who could be seen as Prez some day than the Rethugs do.

He's done well and the republicans hate him. What's not to like?

He'd make an excellent candidate to put up against whichever star candidate the Republicans put up, and he'd make an excellent president as well. By 2017, President Obama should have us out of the mess President Bush left us, so O'Malley would be able to get to work fighting for even more progressive reforms and causes (if he gets a cooperative Congress).

Right now, he's the guy I'm looking for in 2016. But we have to worry about this November first.
