The problem with Francis Underwood is...

He is not as charming as Francis Urquhart (a charming villain, but a true villain), and not as much of a clown than Agent Orange (a comic idiot, but a true villain). But it is Shakespeare, all over again. All three are MacBeth...

Today my boss made a comment that she really thought that Trump was trying to use House of Cards as a roadmap. He is running around acting like the house is on fire. He just can't pull off an Underwood move, he just isn't that bright.

What surprised me in the old Brit version was the first murder, and that mrs. Urquhart was every bit as ambitious and diabolical as her husband. I'm waiting for melania to make her move.

someone who doesn't put up with crap, and doesn't dish it, either. Seems cerebral and deeply thoughtful.

The cast of the British show was marvelous. The only thing I didn't like was the reporter character calling him "Daddy". Yuck. Made my skin crawl.

I was on the laptop downstairs drinking my coffee - and I couldn't see the picture! Dang.

So, for those who didn't see it, it is a campaign poster from the TV show House of Cards showing Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood. The caption next to him is "FU2016.com." Considering the recent election, that pretty much says it all.
