WTF Is Wrong With You?

Yeah, Republicans – I’m talking to you.

I’m sure I am not the only person in the country – indeed, in the world – who wants to know exactly, precisely, and without any obfuscation, what the fuck is wrong with all of you.

Congratulations. You managed to put a known liar, racist, misogynist pig in the White House. He is stupid beyond imagination, and has never so much as tried to learn what his duties are, or shown any indication that he is aware of his responsibilities as the so-called ”president”. As his statements, actions, and behaviour have proven over the past four months, these are facts not open to debate.

And through it all, you have done nothing but make excuses for his idiocy, attempt to reason away his obvious mental instability, and defend his propagation of “alternative facts”.

So, again I ask the obvious question: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

I realize Republicans are – to put it kindly – not the brightest people on the planet. But even the dumbest-of-the-dumb eventually realize that defending an obvious loud-mouthed idiot just might be a losing battle.

After just a matter of MONTHS in office, Trump has managed to insult our allies, undermine our commitments to NATO, and pull us out of the Paris Accord. He has repeatedly embarrassed our nation on the world stage, to the point where our country is no longer seen as the leader of the free world – and rightly so, because we no longer are.

This is no longer a matter of the majority of Americans being against everything Your Idiot Boy says and does; it is now a matter of the entire world relegating the United States to the status of a country that can’t be trusted, can’t be relied upon, and can’t be included among those nations that are more than willing to take the lead on tackling the problems that face all members of the global community.

From incoherent, non-sensical “tweets” to statements that completely ignore reality, from praising our enemies, Putin and the Russians, to insisting that all of the now-verified contacts between Trump & Co and Russian operatives are a witch-hunt, to declaring that the mayor of London told that city’s citizens that the recent terrorist attack was “nothing to be alarmed about”, you Republicans have continued to defend the indefensible.

Again: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Are you ALL as fuckin’ stupid as your Dear Leader? Are you ALL so ignorant of the facts? Are you ALL willing to pretend that a dumb-ass who can’t put two coherent sentences together is an appropriate POTUS of what used to be a nation that was globally respected, and is now considered untrustworthy? Are you ALL as willing to defend Putin’s Bitch as you are willing to throw your own countrymen under the bus? Are you ALL as anxious to watch in silence as our democracy is undermined by Your Idiot Boy’s behaviour? Are you ALL too fuckin’ stupid to realize that THE ENTIRE WORLD is watching as you continue to support/defend a man who continues to act like an ignorant, self-absorbed jerk-off whose only real interest is how much money he and his family members can pocket as a result of his so-called “presidency”?

Well, GOP, good luck with that. The 2018 midterms are almost upon us, and your Idiot Boy is about to lead your party into oblivion.

I, for one, look forward to your excuses as to why our country has lost its long-held status as the leader of the free world to become a nation of people stupid enough to elect a lying dumb-ass to its highest position. I anxiously await your “reasoning” as to why our nation’s loss of standing in the world has suddenly become unimportant. I await your “yeah buts”, your “what-about-Obama”, your “Hillary’s-emails” nonsense being profferred as explanations for defending a “president” who spends the majority of his time tweeting fact-free bullshit between golf games.

So the question stands: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?

Apparently, the answer is “everything”.

They've poisoned their voters minds to the point this is what they've become. They're literally willing to turn a blind eye to any and all atrocities, no matter the cost to our nation, just to try and push their agenda and retain their seats. Problem is those two events just might be mutually exclusive.

I haven't read one of these tire inflator threads in years.

Nothing has changed.

The 2018 midterm is 17 months away. There's a reason they call that a future book in betting terms. It's so far removed you receive a bonus price while speculating. Only a fool would believe it's obvious or cemented enough to take a sucker rate.

They aren't passionate about world affairs like us and they are turned off by politicians and corruption of all kinds but we need to bring them on board.

The pity is that precious few Repukes will read it, or if they do, they will disregard it out of hand. I know these people, as I served with them for 29 years, biting my tongue and looking away. They are not only stupid, they are arrogantly so. Typically they are also bible thumpers, and use God and their religion to justify their political beliefs. And they are getting even angrier as their numbers shrink. When this giant orange turd is finally flushed, we can only hope that enough will see the light. The thought of a 2018 wave election is what keeps me hopeful in this insanity that has been fomented upon us. Resist and stay strong! Contribute, speak out, and VOTE!

I agree that the majority seem to be fundamentalist Bible thumpers. There is no reasoning with these people - they are completely brainwashed and terrified that gawd will strike them down if they don't believe everything they hear spewed from the pulpit by some deranged Jim Jones type on Sundays. They celebrate communion with kool-aide, and they seem to adore Dumpf even more than they fear their irreligous leaders. Sadly, there is little to no hope for them.

Then there's the reptilican Congress - high on the Koch brothers money and covfefe. They'll do anything to stay in power and the damage to our country and its democratic institutions be damned. I HATE them all!

Budget deficits are evil, and undermine our economic stability--unless they are Republican-caused. Then they "don't matter."

The same goes for "our nation’s loss of standing in the world has suddenly become unimportant." It WAS important--except that while Obama was president, our standing in the world was just fine: right on top where it had been for most of the post-World-War-II era.

If our standing in the world has slipped to somewhere between that of Sierra Leone and South Sudan, the Republicans have only to ask the face in the mirror as to how such a thing could have occurred.

Everything stated herein has been on the tip of my tongue waiting to explode. But let me add this. When they start with the yeah buts or Pox News talking points I'm ready to dismiss them with a brief but powerful comment. Normal people don't care what Trump / Republicans have to say unless it's under oath, and even then we don't believe them. And then followed by a pointed question / suggestion "Why don't you shut the fuck up?"
I worked for a trial lawyer who always said, "Everything changes once the lying starts." But with the Trump / Republican cult the lying never stops. Neither he nor his sycophants can tell the truth.
So how will it end: resignation? impeachment / indictment? pitchforks torches and rope? blindfolds and cigarettes? the Romanov solution? hemlock.........? Either he's removed, or we will be paying for this slide into fascism and the Dark Ages for generations to come.

This whole Fuhrer Rumpus I fiasco has absolutely NOTHING to do with them thinking.. has NOTHING to do with "making America great again".. has NOTHING to do with what he will do for the country.

His election is ALL about their revenge. All of the outrage you and I and everyone else here has? THAT's what they wanted, THAT's what they are getting, and as long as that jackass in the White House continues to piss us off, he's doing every fucking thing that they elected him to do. It doesn't even matter to them if it does hurt them along with us.. as long as we are angry and we are hurt.. THAT's all that matters.

Damn them all.

They are willing to make the planet less habitable for millions in order for their donor corporations to show a better quarterly profit in the coming election cycle

They are willing to let dozens of people die every week in order not to upset the NRA

They are willing to force women to struggle to control their own bodies in order to keep fundamentalists going to the polls and donating. (And to keep the social household order they are used to in place)
