Macron offers refuge to US climate scientists in swipe at Trump rejecting Paris agreement

This is like reverse Nazi Germany where Europe offers refuse to U.S. scientists.

The French President joined the rest of Europe in condemning the move in a joint statement with the leaders of Germany and Italy defending the Paris agreement.

"I know that you are a great nation. I know your history — our common history.

“To all scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, responsible citizens who were disappointed by the decision of the president of the United States, I want to say that they will find in France a second homeland.”

The French leader urged them to work on “concrete solutions” for the environment in France.
