Hi everybody:
ON EDIT: I posted a pro-Hillary and pro-Democrat satiric graphic.
The graphic satirized all of those recent horrible "Hillary Shut Up And Go Away" opinion pieces that hAve appeared on the net.
It depicted a bingo card, and each one of the square made fun of the dumb talking points that appear in those pundits and analysts' Op-Eds and thinkpieces.
Unfortunately the satire was subtle enough that some folk took it literally.
So people read it as an anti-HRC hit piece.
A jury hid my post because they felt it was an attack on HRC.
I've basically learned my lesson that it is tricky to present satire in a written post. Tone is almost impossible to convey.
I appreciate the mods accepting my appeal and overturning the hide.
My intentions were good, but I totally get why some of you got the wrong impression. It is somewhat edgy humor, and I know a lot of us are still in pain from the Presidential Election.
Love to all of my fellow DU'ers. I am so glad that strong Democrats like HRC are out there speaking out. May they never be silenced.

Not original, saw on Reddit.

(90,714 posts)Hillary was interviewed for BookTV, and the interviewer shuffled through a stack of questions at the beginning, choosing this one: "Dear Hillary, Do you have any idea how much you mean to us?!"
--- Cheers and applause erupted.
Hillary Clinton goes to the theatre in New York. Fellow members of the audience give her a standing ovation.
Some people won't be satisfied until she takes holy orders and retreats from the world in a silent nunnery. The "Bingo game" is funny/sad. But "some people" can go to Hell.
never goes away. She should be a constant reminder to the "Deplorables" that they are responsible for the idiot in the WH and for helping to ruin this nation.

(15,682 posts)like I'm a 5 year old. Is this approved anti-Hillary humor? Or are we laughing at the deplorables who thought it was funny?

(90,714 posts)...and be ashamed of herself for getting 66,000,000 Americans to vote for her. The humor is in making a game of guessing what the "reason" is on any given day.

(15,682 posts)these days. I understood all the bingo spots but it made me angry all over again to see them.
Thanks for the reply, Hekate. I think I'm hopeless.

Most of this bullshit is coming from the right and is probably being encouraged by Russian trolls on Farcebook.

(90,714 posts)There's a lot of fools (a lot? well, some) out there claiming they are "the Left" who despise Hillary because reasons. The tv bobbleheads are only too glad to give them a hearing and repeat their foolishness. Resist.

(44,131 posts)I want all Dems to keep speaking up. Especially Hillary and Bernie.
Dunno how many of these "stfu Hillary think pieces" you've seen, but they all pretty much reproduce most of those talking points listed in the squares.
I'm sort of laughing instead of crying at these Hillary stfu op-eds. Gallows humor maybe?
Control-Z
(15,682 posts)Appreciating gallows humor, or any humor at Hillary's expense.
I can't promise I'll ever get there either.
Thank you for the explanation.

(41,989 posts)Although I still manage humor, That's because I'm kind of made that way. But I get you, for real.

(25,543 posts)Yesterday saw one about she didn't have a real reason to run for president. It's like they have no idea who Hillary Clinton is. Wait, I guess that should be they're pretending to have no idea or too gullible/stupid to get it through their heads that these fake news stories smearing Hillary are attacking her strengths. The right-wing playbook: attack strengths.

(678 posts)Why is this on DU at all & why would anyone see this as humorous?
Make a boardgame for Trump..or Bernie..then I may see the point.
Puke.

(44,131 posts)It ridicules those articles, rants, op-eds that insist HRC should stop talking and go into hiding.
Those editorials/think pieces frustrate the hell out of me. I want all of our Dems out there and talking, and HRC has a lot to say.
The bingo card shows how formulaic and shallow these editorials are.
Hope that clarifies.

The whole idea is a mockery.

(44,131 posts)I knocked doors for Hillary in my county in Iowa and she won big there. It just wasn't enough to overwhelm the Steve King type wingnuts in the western part of the state.
If you think I'm some sort of alt-right or alt-left troll you're very much mistaken.

Not you specifically.

(44,131 posts)You posted "BS" to >me< (in reply to my post 13) where I explained why I posted the chart.
I get that you interpret it differently and that's how it goes. You don't see that it is satirizing the hit pieces. That's no big deal.
However that doesn't give you the right to insinuate I am a liar.
Carry on.

I guess this is my lesson that not everyone has a taste for the same type of humor.

(3,910 posts)the rest of them the wounds are a little to fresh.
It's kind of like when one your parents die and you hear a joke about old people dying.
I have no problem with anybody who can appreciate its humor
