is "democratic". "Democrat" is a noun. You can't use a noun to modify a noun, like you're doing with "Democrat News Commentator" and "the Democrat part". That's why this site is named "Democratic Underground" and not "Democrat Underground".

Using Democrat (noun) instead of Democratic (adjective) is a disparaging usage adopted by republicans. It is not only ungrammatical, it is offensive to Democrats.
