Buzzfeed strikes again, gets "Obama Commie Font" story 100% wrong
Zeke Miller at the increasingly hilarious BuzzFeed web site must have figured that he had a hot, hot scoop that would provide yet more proof the President Obama is a commie socialist pinko commie:
A reader points out that President Barack Obama's new typeface is Revolution Gothic, a style inspired by retro Cuban propaganda posters. Who vets the fonts? (Obama press secretary Ben LaBolt emails: “Your GOP operative should have had the courtesy to stay sober before noon, and BuzzFeed should go back to labeling cat slideshows.”)
The irony-challenged cub reporter even provided visual proof that it's a bolshevik commie Leninist typeface!

And that's not to mention that the font also looks like poster fonts from the era of the Works Progress Administration.
But I digress.
Because one Gene Gaudette posted in reply this very telling image that, well, shows that Zeke's unimpeachable source was -- well, wrong:

Evidently, someone at BuzzFeed must have taken umbrage, because the original post disappeared. An anonymous reader reposted it, but I'd wager it's gone before Federer trounces Harris (or vice-versa).
